Product Summary

The Micro-Computer Financial Plus (MCFP) Accounting System provides detailed reports for business management, financial analysis and tax management. The software is specifically designed for agriculture, although the system can be used for non-agricultural businesses.

The accounting system consists of the following features:  Financial, Payroll and Enterprise. A check writer, which records and prints checks, is included.

Software Design

The accounting package is double-entry on cash and allows for up to nine checking/savings accounts.  The system allows for entry of all checks and deposit tickets directly from the bank statement, or entry of income and expense entries when they occur, as well as use of the check writer.  A four-digit account code is used to classify all check and deposit ticket entries as income, expense, or loans.  Family living records are an integral part of the system, which provides a separate non-farm income statement.

MCFP windows software is designed for ease of entry and report readability. The system design is user friendly.  The MCFP Windows accounting software is capable of handling accounts for multiple farms and enterprises.  You determine the number of businesses to track financially.  You can customize the accounting package to your specific business operation through the use of special custom external codes on income, expense or loan tranactions.

Financial Feature

The Financial feature provides reports needed to determine the profitability of the business, evaluate new investments, or analyze changes in equity.

The feature provides a comprehensive balance sheet and supporting schedules that provide detailed information on all assets and liabilities. Detailed loan and accounts receivable schedules along  with the monthly cash flow report, provide the tools needed to work with credit institutions and study financial performance.

Payroll Feature

The Intelligent payroll feature accommodates monthly payroll records for up to 980 employees, including wages paid, witholding, and wage deposits.  Users can configure the program to automatically compute tax and other witholdings based on employee information when using the check writer to write payroll checks.

Enterprise Feature

If the user wants to analyze crop and livestock production costs, the enterprise analysis feature allows for cost-return and management records on specific enterprises.  Each enterprise analysis provides income and expense information, as well as complete per unit analysis.
